ETL Architect (Microsoft BI/Tableau) with HCM/Financial, SQL, Alchemy/Esperant, Agile and Jira experience

The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) requires the services one Database Architect, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of an Database Architect 3 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the OAG. OAG may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. OAG will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).

The database architect must have a strong background in architecting and developing technical solutions for databases, warehouses, and business intelligence. Work includes providing solutions for ETL processes, reporting requirements, data cleanup/integration, and potential data warehousing needs. The database architect must have experience developing processes and procedures in support of a large enterprise environment, the ability to administer and support existing database architectures, and skill documenting various project artifacts.

Key responsibilities include:
Optimizing existing databases
Analysis of existing legacy reporting solutions
Recommending and implementing solutions for financial data warehousing
Developing and optimizing database queries
Data inventory and classification documentation
Assist in creating data deliverables for migrating to CAPPS
Administration and support of impacted databases
Development of Business and/or Functional Requirements
Mentoring and training others
