Informatica PowerCenter ETL Developer with shell scripting, AWS, IAM, networking, agile, healthcare/HHSC experience

Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Experience as an ETL engineer implementing data integration pipelines for a data mart or a data warehouse using Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ.
4 Required Experience in data validation (pre and post ETL processing) for checking the accuracy and quality of data.
4 Required Experience creating shell scripts using borne or c shell.
4 Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience.
3 Required Working knowledge of AWS IAM, networking, infrastructure, storage, and database services.
3 Required Member of an agile team that focus on delivering business value.
2 Required Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2 Required Effectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required.
3 Preferred Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry
2 Preferred Prior experience with an HHS agency
1 Preferred Relevant AWS Certification
HHSC IT is currently implementing a data sharing platform with Informatica PowerCenter / IDQ, Snowflake and AWS technologies with a goal to accomplish improved collection, integration, and curation of COVID-19 related data sets.
-Responsible for development using Informatica Data Quality and PowerCenter
-Assist DSHS program area use of the SHARP Platform to its fullest potential
-Resolve any data source ingestion issues
-Operationalize ingestion of new data sources as needed
-Other work includes, but is not limited to:
-Validation of performance metric requirements
-Creation of EPICS/User Stories
-Creation and validation of dashboard and report mock-ups
-Automation of data acquisition from a variety of data sources
-Dashboard and report development
-Testing – integration, load and stress, and user
-Deployment / publication internally and externally
· Operations support and enhancement of the SHARP platform
· All other duties as assigned.
