DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Datacenter Systems Architect’s responsibilities would include, but is not limited to:
• Maintains and integrates critical cloud and on-premise services and infrastructure.
• Evaluates system by system and cloud vs on-premise posture, configuration, and processes.
• Contributes to technical feasibility in development of strategic plans.
• Evaluates physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Implements, monitors, and supports cybersecurity and system quality performance.
• Serves as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborates with areas across campus and with other IT teams.
• Provides time and cost estimates.

Database Platforms MS SQL Yes 1 Advanced 4 – 6 Years
Packaged Applications Datacenter, Cloud and Network Infrastructure Yes 1 Advanced 4 – 6 Years
Packaged Applications MS OFFICE 365 Yes 1 Advanced 4 – 6 Years
Specialties Azure Cloud and Virtualization Yes 1 Advanced 4 – 6 Years

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The project scope includes assisting Trident Technical College – Division of Information Technology – Infrastructure Services with the following activities:
• Evaluating, consult and assist with implementing Cloud services
• Evaluating, consult and assist with implementing new technologies
• Aligning systems with associated business processes, services, and plans
• Integrate and migrate processes to cloud resources as needed
• Support servers and storage in datacenter, physical and virtual environments
• SQL database knowledge and experience
• Load balancing experience with physical and cloud base balancers
• Azure and M365 experience no less than three years
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
Knowledge of higher education business processes and systems

Evaluating, consult and assist with implementing Cloud services
• Evaluating, consult and assist with implementing new technologies
• Aligning systems with associated business processes, services, and plans
• Integrate and migrate processes to cloud resources as needed
• Support servers and storage in datacenter, physical and virtual environments
• SQL database knowledge and experience
• Load balancing experience with physical and cloud base balancers

REQUIRED EDUCATION: 3-5 years of relevant experience
