This position is responsible for enterprise level windows/systems administration including: maintenance, patch management, support, troubleshooting, installation, and break/fix. Areas of responsibility include DEV, UAT, Training, and Production server environments. Work involves supporting primarily windows systems using On-Prem Active Directory and Azure AD. Implementation of best practices & hardening standards Supporting reporting/automation/configuration of windows infrastructure.
Work includes optimizing systems performance, troubleshooting systems problems, and analyzing usage and systems load issues of a highly technical nature. Work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a high technical skill level. Position requires frequent interaction with employees, customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems related to the use of single and/or multiple information systems. Work may include creation, installation, and modification of software and hardware, testing, and documentation on a variety of platforms. Experience working in multi-tiered server environments. Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision. Extensive systems administration experience on the Windows Server platform, monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning, etc.
