NC DES is urgently seeking 2 Testers to support a recent surge in work resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak. The Testers’ work will focus on activities centered around the Southeast Consortium Unemployment Benefits Integration (SCUBI) system. The day to day work will be focused around the following:
Minimum 6 years of experience in software application testing standards and methods. Experience in Manual and Automated testing GUI, Client/Server, Web Applications on multiple platforms. Experience in Analysis of the Business Requirement Software Requirements Specifications and Interface Specifications. Expertise in developing Test plans and Test cases using specifications and design documents. Expertise in Unit System Integration, Functional Regression, Security, User acceptance, Performance & Load testing. Experience in Automation Tools like QTP or Selenium. Experience in Data Validation developing and executing multifaceted SQL and PL/SQL queries. Experience in defect and bug tracking using HP ALM. Experience/Knowledge in Defect/Incident tracking using Manage Engine. Experience/ Knowledge in incident reporting using Service Now. Flexible working part of a team and also independent contributor with excellent communication, technical and interpersonal skills. Must have knowledge/working experience in state UI-Unemployment Insurance Benefits system. Experience /knowledge of the SCUBI/Tax system is a plus.
