Telecommunication PM (PMP) with ISDN/PRI’s, SIP, DID, Centrex, POT’s, Avaya, CM, SM SMGR, SBC, AES, AEP, vendor management, JIRA/Footprints/Planview and government experience
Location: Augusta ME (State of Maine)
Duration: 6-9 months
Project Manager required skills:
Project Management Experience (7+ years);
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex technology initiatives involving multiple subgroups or teams.
IT experience with State Governments a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as proven written and oral communication skills, and the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to help influence and work with others collaboratively and constructively.
Good understanding of Telecommunication field including: Transportation using ISDN/PRI’s & SIP, DID, Centrex & POT’s; Core supporting platform system type Avaya. CM, SM SMGR, SBC, AES, AEP; Third party integrations systems that provide call recording, call detail & interactive voice response.
Well versed in Desktop technologies (Windows7/10, Office 365) Collaboration technologies (WebEx, Skype, One Drive), Server Technologies, Database, and Network Technologies.
Strong Vendor Management skills.
Proficient in ticketing and project management tools; JIRA, Footprints, Planview.
Good prioritization skills, to balance key priorities.
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
PMP Certification a plus
Project Manager responsibilities will include:
Work closely with Voice Services team and contractors to drive technical project.
Create and drive plans to delivery by leveraging the input, knowledge, and direction of surrounding teams and subject matter experts.
Manage and track multiple simultaneous work streams working with multiple teams and 3rd party vendors.
Responsible for high quality deliverables.
Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources on the project.
Proficient in Project Management methodologies.
Ensure key project objectives are understood and met, ensuring that the team members understand the requirements and meet the goals.
Track and monitor progress and develop weekly status reports.
Ability to escalate issues that may affect timelines and ability to provide suggestions for logical solutions.
