SharePoint Developer with Web trends, web services, UI, Security and web standards experience

Minimum Qualifications
•Five (5) years’ experience in Developer/Programmer role
oA Master’s degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree substitutes for two years, or an Associate’s degree substitutes for one year
•Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role
Desired Skills
•Proven work experience as a SharePoint designer/developer
•Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
•Experience with Web Applications and SharePoint programming languages
•Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
•Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
•Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
•Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
•Knowledge or hands on design experience with SharePoint Web Services
•Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to SharePoint
•Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
•Experience with Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design
Sample Tasks
•Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs
•Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes
•Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language
•Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems
•Use web-based tools to create and advance applications
•Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary
•Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
•Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support
