Qualifications:
– Previous work with RESTful API Design or maintenance.
– Experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, MVC, .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework
– Experience with databases, preferably with SQL
– Azure experience a plus (Azure SQL and toolsets available in Azure used to leverage SQL)
– Experience with web technologies such as HTTP requests, JSON, etc.
– Knowledge of debugging code & tracking down issues.
– Motivated self-starter.
– Good verbal and written communication skills.
– We are slowing integrating Azure DevOps into our process. Experience with Azure Devops and how it can be leveraged to assist in this effort is a plus.
Scope of Work
We are looking for a Backend Engineer excited to create RESTful APIs. This person will be hands-on building out new APIs for our current on-prem and future Azure data access (SQL Server). Must be able to work on-site. Consideration can be given for teleworking once an onboarding process is complete (4-6 weeks)
Responsibilities:
– Contribute to product design and requirements discussions
– Own development for features of medium to large complexity.
– Design & implement features, APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications, while keeping a strong customer focus
– Test and profile code written by yourself and others
– Provide status and feedback to management.
