Minimum Requirements:

3 General computer hardware experience with strong background in desktop support and break/fix procedures
3 Enterprise computer hardware experience, including installing and maintaining major platform (e.g. Dell, IBM, HP, Cisco) server-class hardware, networking devices and peripherals in a multi-server environment
3 Experience implementing, maintaining and performance tuning Windows Server systems including the configuration of Active Directory Services, DNS DHCP, SNMP, NAS, SAMBA, file system permissions, and monitoring tools
3 Administration of Windows and Linux-based web services environments including Internet Information Services (IIS)/SQL Server/.NET Framework and/or Apache/MySQL/PHP (LAMP)
3 Intermediate relational database administration experience (e.g. Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle) including general server maintenance and backup/recovery operations
3 Experience implementing and managing cloud-based infrastructure services utilizing Amazon’s or Microsoft’s cloud-based virtualization technologies or on-premises virtualization platforms such as Citrix Hypervisor (XenServer) or VMWare
3 Experience implementing, maintaining and performance tuning Linux Server systems including the configuration of SSHD, FTPD, NFS, SAMBA and file system permissions
3 Technical requirements gathering and documentation experience
3 Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, subnets, routing, VLANs, IPsec, SSL and enterprise level firewall/router products with a strong understanding of wireless networking (802.11g/n/ac) with the ability to troubleshoot wireless routers/access points and configure client connectivity on a variety of platforms
2 Experience implementing and maintaining major platform backup solutions (e.g. Symantec NetBackup or BackupExec) with advanced knowledge of business class disk and tape storage technologies (e.g. RAID, SAS, SCSI, iSCSI, LTO, DLT)
2 Previous experience providing support for remotely connected staff or customers along with associated technologies (e.g. Virtual Private Network (VPN), Outlook Web Access, Citrix XenApp, etc.)
1 Experience utilizing a source version control system (e.g. CVS, Subversion, GIT, etc.)
1 Experience utilizing Agile and/or Scrum project management framework

•Provides expert technical support for end-users in areas such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, Apple/iOS phones and tablets, network printers, enterprise copiers and networking issues.
•Provides expert technical support of a disparate LAN/WAN infrastructure consisting of Linux and Windows servers, routers/firewalls, integrated services devices, managed network switches, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure services and VMWare services.
•Installs, configures and maintains Linux and Windows servers with minimum supervision.
•Provides daily operational environment monitoring and troubleshooting including log inspection and alert response.
•Assists in implementing agency disaster recovery responsibilities and procedures.
•Trains users and promotes security awareness to ensure systems security and to improve server and network efficiency.
•Automates technology infrastructure installation, configuration, maintenance and change management processes utilizing various scripting languages/technologies (e.g. BASH, C#.NET, T-SQL, Ruby, Python), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider technologies, configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible) and platform-specific APIs (e.g. Amazon’s S3, Microsoft’s Azure Storage Services).
•Participates in ongoing change management planning, deployment and review related tasks.
•Assists in risk assessment and internal audit remediation efforts.
•Creates and maintains technical documentation of systems, services and applications including operations and user guides.
•Utilizes reporting tools, Microsoft Excel and/or Structured Query Language (SQL) to develop moderately complex reports and analysis which is needed for various business processes and process efficiency evaluation.
•Possesses strong knowledge in change management, version control and process.
•Provides email and telephone support to company staff and remote users for agency websites, services and custom created solutions.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
