5 Experience communicating with customers to obtain business requirements, documenting those requirements, and tracking and documenting the specifications associated with those requirements
5 Experience with systems consolidations within complex organizations
5 Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with all levels of staff.
5 Experience supporting large programs (composed of multiple projects): monitoring projects, assisting with communications, escalating risks and issues, and preparing tracking and status reports and various presentations.
5 Strong experience with Microsoft toolset – Word, Project, Visio, Excel.
3 Project Coordination of complex projects with multiple stakeholders

The Health and Human Services system has undertaken a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) project with the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR). The scope of this program / project includes all activities necessary to support the successful completion of all deliverables required within CAP. The CAP requires HHSC to take certain actions to improve its information security program. These actions include conducting a comprehensive security risk assessment and analysis of all legacy Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) functions that were in existence on April 21,2015 and transferred to HHSC. This includes all Information Systems (Applications), Facilities, Equipment, Business Agreements, Policies and Procedures, and Training.
This position will provide business analysis, coordination and oversight for Infrastructure services for which planning, and implementation requires coordination across multiple HHSC program areas and other stakeholders. This position will ensure that project start up and ongoing activities are completed, to include development of project plans, issues logs, risk logs, and risk assessments and mitigations. Project plans will include all major milestones and dependencies across multiple HHSC divisions / program area projects to ensure all interdependencies are identified and the many stakeholders have a shared understanding of those interdependencies.
The focus of this position will be on the Infrastructure Services tasks and resources that are required to complete the comprehensive security risk assessments, the subsequent validation of those assessments, and a Risk Remediation Plan. Duties will include:
•Providing progress and status reporting,
•Identifying risks & Issues, manage vendor engagement activates to align with HHSC schedules,
•Participating in planning and reporting sessions,
•Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs,
•Writing detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop of modify computer systems.
