•Deep understanding of Java and Kotlin development using Android Studio
•Deep knowledge of Android SDK (Activity lifecycle, Fragments, XML Layouts, FCM/GCM Push Notifications, Constraint Layouts, Material Widgets, media, camera, contacts, location, maps, and intents)
•Proficient with RESTful API’s to connect Android applications to back-end services
•Great understanding of a modern app architecture (MVVM, MVP, etc)
•Solid experience integrating 3rd party SDKs
•Comprehensive understanding of Agile scrum development process and Participates in all Agile scrum ceremonies
•Contributes to improving processes and tools that relate to the team’s execution and overall productivity
•Familiar with and contributes to engineering best practices
•Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
•Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
•Knowledge of the open source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
•Familiarity with Cloud Message APIs and Push Notifications
•Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Able to manage multiple priorities and deliverables, both short and long-term, in a busy and aggressive environment
•Must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment
•Knowledge in GitHub, SourceTree
•Knowledge in Jira
•Basic knowledge of networking
•Experience with Analytic tools such as Google Analytics, New Relic."
