JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Mississippi Department of Finance’s Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property Management and State Property Insurance tracks the assets, attributes, and insurance of each of the properties owned by the State. These properties include buildings, furniture, vehicles, and other related items. The attributes for each of these properties include location, responsible personnel, age, replacement cost, etc.
The contractor is expected to update the existing Enhanced Information System (EIS) including the following activities:
1.Removal of various specified data fields from screens within the application.
2.Addition of various screens and database fields to accommodate additional appraisal data collection within the application.
3.Creation of tool to enable appraisal information to be merged from spreadsheets from CBIZ and SPA.
The contractor is expected to plan and implement the server conversion housing the EIS software. The following activities are to be performed.
1.Implement server conversion from Windows Server 2008r2 to Server 2016.
2.Facilitate any necessary testing of conversion.
3.Ensure EIS is operating appropriately after conversion
As a result of the merged data, records will be added to the EIS.
4.Creation of new reports: Underwriter
5.Creation of new integrated Geocoding tool within EIS to provide geocode information to location fields.
6.Geocode new addresses and add longitude and latitude values recently entered into EIS.
7.Modification of existing Building Report to include an agency prefix on every page.
8.Update Map security to replace long-lived tokens with short-lived auto-generated tokens.
9.Updated User/Agency associations.
10.Any database and/or application interface changes needed due to the above modifications must also be addressed.
