Network Technician with WAP installation, CAT cabling/termination, sheetrock cutting, concrete block drilling, switch/PDU mounting and fiber optic patch cabling experience
Location: Austin TX (TMD)
Duration: 12 months
Worker will perform basic operations, monitoring, installation, trouble shooting, relocations, or maintenance of network and communications equipment. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs systems, hardware, and peripherals. Other duties as defined.
Minimum Requirements:

2The physical mounting of Wireless Access Points (WAPs) (both in an office setting and large open rooms).
2Pulling and terminating CAT 6 or CAT 6A communications cabling throughout office buildings.
2Occasional sheet rock cutting and concrete block drilling for cable pathway creation and WAP mounting
2Installation and termination of CAT 6 or CAT 6A patch panels.
2Installation of Network infrastructure cable plant components (mounting switches, patch cabling, mounting electrical power distribution units (PDUs))
2Establishing network connectivity by interconnecting fiber optic patch cabling and SFPs
