PROJECT DETAILSThe Mississippi Department of Finance & Administration (DFA) / Mississippi Management and Reporting System (MMRS) is recruiting one (1) SAP Business Warehouse / Business Intelligence (BI/BW) Developer to provide SAP system support. The resource will serve as a member of the BI/BW team and will work alongside State resources in developing, enhancing, and supporting the BI/BW modules of the Mississippi Accountability System of Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC) system.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE# YEARS
Experience in developing BW solutions to extract data from SAP systems for use in Business Intelligence. Experience in ABAP, Data Extractors, Data Model Design, Query Building, and Process chains.10+
Experience in developing BI reports. Experience with Business Objects, Web Intelligence (WebI) BEX Queries.10+
Experience working with an SAP operational system for a Public Sector client.5+
Experience with Security including but not limited to roles, privileges, and CMS.5+
Experience with BOE 4.2 SP65+
Experience with Transparency reporting, including use of dashboards.5+
Experience with BASIS activities and Database (DB2) resources.5+
Experience with regular BI system health checks & subsequent action plans to improve system performance & stability5+
Experience with analysis and development activities to determine and resolve root causes of BI/BW system issues.5+
Experience with Data Validation5+
Experience with SAP system upgrades – Candidate must have been involved with ATLEAST one SAP system upgrade5+
Preference given to candidates with the below skills/experience. Must also meet minimum requirements.
Knowledge with State of Mississippi (SOMS) MAGIC system included but not limited to SOMS cash logic, contracts, grants, assets, and other customized processes.
Serve as liaison between BOE technical team and SAP functional teams.
Two years’ experience in training / knowledge transfer to public sector employees from entry level and above.
Experience with analysis and development activities to resolve root causes of incidents.
Experience with data validation.
Experience with SAP system upgrades.
