Skills Required
•Overall 15-18 years of experience working in IT and at least 7-8 years in solutions/enterprise architect role
•Experience in transforming a large business critical Legacy Application(s) to Modern platform, preferably on Cloud.
•Must be technically hands-on. Experience working on Cloud technologies, especially AWS and Big Data on AWS.
•Experience with strategic business and IT strategy development and planning
•Architecture development experience across Business, Application, Data and Technology domains
•Excellent communication and influencing skills
•Experience of leading major strategic business and IT transformation programs
•Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
•Project and program management planning and organizational skills
•Proven track record of mentoring team in adopting new technologies
•Proficiency with Cloud technologies and concepts, Real-time analytics, Streaming data platform and machine learning tools
•Working with vendors to enhance tool capabilities to meet enterprise needs
Skills Desired (Good to have)
•2+ years experience working with AWS technologies or other cloud providers
•2+ years experience in Financial services, primarily corporate wealth management services
•Experience/Good understanding of Data management, Big Data, AWS Data Lake, Kinesis, Amazon EMR, Redshift, DynamoDB and Machine Learning on AWS
•Experience/Good understanding of Containers, Micro services, Docker, Kubernetes engine.
•Experience/Knowledge of Hybrid connectivity between AWS and On-premise for Unisys Mainframe running on DB2 database.
Responsibilities
•Primary point of contact for the customer from Mphasis stand-point for this transformation program
•Partner with product managers and product owners to understand business needs and develop architecture patterns and blueprints that can be built by the engineers
•Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for designing and building application architecture and components
•Own and drive business and technology conversations along with customer architecture group and assist them with the transformation program
•Create, present, and deliver data and platform solutions, roadmaps, and featured use cases at customer meetings, working sessions, educational sessions, and events
•Mentor and guide the Mphasis team on overall solutioning, architecture and delivery
•Help build a culture of learning and innovation with a focus on learning new data technologies / practices and spearheading adoption within the organization
•Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in technology communities and act as an internal mentor to users of these platforms
•Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to require standards and processes
