Project Manager (PMP) with and transportation industry experience

7Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7Strong aptitude for numbers and data analysis, quick learner, problem solver
7Detail oriented, accurate with good organizational, project, and time management skills
7Self-starter, highly motivated and results oriented.
7Ability to work with diverse groups of employees and blend people into effective team
3Three years of experience in transportation industry preferred.
DegreeBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field

Certification Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

For this role, will need to understand the nuisances of a large scale data migration, how to document current business processes and integrate best practices while transitioning to new system. Will work with 3rd party vendor resources to track project status, identify risk and communicate strategy.

Essential Duties include:
•Support the transition and implementation of programs/projects to support the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management system
•Serve as Point of Contact for asset class assigned and participate in all design reviews and migration walk through.
•Document all asset configurations and work management procedures for asset class assigned and ensure deliverables are accurately implemented and meet the needs of Operations.
•Specializes in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various resources including SPEAR, Lawson and Trapeze
•Conducts research relative to current or potential strategies, processes and systems; supports teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement of Asset Management Program elements
•Establishes procedures to ensure compliance with FTA guidelines, quality control measures, and standards.
•Develops measurement and reporting systems to support monitoring of key performance indicators

No Skype interviews, interviews will be conducted by phone and or in person.
May require travel to other locations, transportation provided.

A background check report (including but not limited to education, criminal and social media) and drug screening report are both required to be submitted for DART Human Capital review and approval prior to start of employment.
