Insurance QA Lead with BA, Majesco tool, defect tracking, UAT/performance/automation testing and P&C Insurance domain experience
Location: New York city , NY / Sun Prairie, WI (QBE)

Basic Qualifications:
– At least 8+ years implementation experience with P&C Insurance software applications ( Majesco tool)
– Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software
– Experience planning component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance, and technical architecture tests
– Experience implementing any Platforms for Policy Administration and/or Billing
– Experience using and managing defect tracking systems
– Experience managing testers’ work throughout test plan development and test execution to ensure that testing is on time and within budget
– Experience measuring, monitoring and reporting on progress during each test phase to ensure that the application is tested and that it meets or exceeds expectations
– Experience translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing
– Experience with automated testing software applications a plus
– Provide technical leadership and set standards for the development, documentation and implementation of test plans and test cases.
– Develop and implement automation scripts and participate in functional walkthroughs
– Solve complex problems by conceiving and driving innovative technical QA solutions.
– Review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects) is properly addressed.
– Manage testers’ work throughout test plan development and test execution to ensure that testing is on time and within budget.
– Allocate test resources to application tests in a multi-test environment.
– Ensure that all testing results are easily accessible (e.g., stored in a commonly area) and understandable.
– Measure and monitor progress during each test to ensure that the application is tested, validated, and piloted on time and within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
– Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards.
