Security PM (PMP must) with MS Project, CDC, HIPAA, CJIS, NIST, FISMA and healthcare experience

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
1.Experience in managing large enterprise level information technology projects with proven implementation success.
2.Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodologies
3.Experience with Industry Standard Information Security Practices
4.Ability to develop, communicate and present project documentation and reports.
5.Knowledge of Information Technology field, best practices, organization and operations.
6.Expert with Microsoft Project
7.Expert with Microsoft Office Products

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
1.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
2.Ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff, customers and others involved in data-centric management.
3.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
4.Ability to integrate technical systems with agency goals and objectives.
5.Experience with security and data classification related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS.
6.Ability to direct and motivate team members to successfully accomplish tasks

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience. Possesses 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
PMP Certification – required

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific Project Manager duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
1.Use project management methodologies to manage tasks throughout all phases of the projects in the portfolio.
2.Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
3.Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
4.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors and ensure resource availability and allocation
5.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to include a project charter, detailed project plan to track progress, communication plan, status reports, meeting minutes, etc.
6.Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
7.Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
8.Report and escalate to management as needed
9.Perform risk management to minimize project risks
10.Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including but not limited to Client Office of Information Technology (OIT), Program Areas within the agency, Division of Technology Operations (DTO) personnel and vendors
11.Promote agency initiatives and adhere to Information Technology and security standards to support business operations.
12.Assist with development of policies and procedures to conform and comply with agency standard cyber security policy design related to information risk management, designation of data as to criticality, confidentiality, and protection. (NIST 800-53, FISMA)

The position will be utilized for 40 hours per week for the duration of this project. The selected candidate should be able to work flexible hours where it may be necessary for work to be completed outside traditional business hours. The candidate will work closely with various Section Managers to identify, prioritize, and schedule workload and implementation to IT standards and procedures. The candidate will work closely with customer and subject matter experts for the system design and testing.
