Short description: Seeking a full-time Infrastructure Solutions Architect for the State of Michigan (SOM) Enterprise Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) service utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and for the SOM Enterprise Intranet, Extranet, and Collaboration service utilizing SharePoint/O365. This individual will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing infrastructure design, technical administration, implementation, and maintenance of these enterprise service offerings. Must have excellent architectural design, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. Must be ITIL certified.
Complete description: Provide expertise for the Enterprise ALM with TFS service, and the Enterprise Intranet, Extranet, and Collaboration with SharePoint service as it relates to system architecture, performance, stability, and security. Identify, research, discuss, design, and implement standards for these enterprise offerings. Design and document disaster recovery scenarios. Work closely with clients and partners to understand their needs and ensure the best enterprise standard is implemented. Design TFS framework and templates to be used across development team project collections. Provide technical advice and counsel in best practices to all SOM development teams utilizing the enterprise service. Provide technical impact analysis on all proposed infrastructure changes to ensure feasibility and system integrity. Analyze and provide capacity management plans. Serve as the technical liaison when working with agencies and vendors. Serve as the ALM consultant to the SOM enterprise change management board. Provide expertise in the Enterprise SharePoint offering, supporting employees across all SOM agencies. With the Service Manager, develop strategic goals in alignment with the DTMB Strategic Plan. Research, evaluate, and plan for implementation of emerging technologies and services. Provide onboarding and training support for new clients.
