Description:
The Tennessee Department of Health, Division of Family Health and Wellness is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Services Assistant 5 (ASA 5). The position will be in the Early Childhood Initiatives (ECI) Section; the ASA 5 will be under the direct supervision of the Evidence-Based Home Visiting (EBHV) Director. This position assists the Section Chief, EBHV Director, EBHV Program Directors, the ECI
Data Team, and other program staff with the day-to-day financial and administrative responsibilities of the ECI Section

Provide administrative support including preparation of reports, forms, and administrative tasks related to preparing budgets; preparing contract documents including scope of service and budget and assisting contract agencies with budget development; processing invoices to ensure timely vendor payment and maintaining Excel spreadsheets. Prepare, process, and track all assigned contracts and applicable amendments for the Early Childhood Initiatives Section. Preparation of the contracts will involve research and analytics as to the proper formatting to be utilized for each contract as well as amendments that occur frequently. Prepare and process budgets and invoices to reconcile contract spending. The ASA 5 will also assist in the development of budget, funding,and Contract Processing Worksheet (CPW) revisions as necessary.

This position will track and reconcile invoices for reimbursement to Edison for assigned contracts.
Provide financial and administrative support services to meet the Early Childhood operational needs.
Provide support to the Early Childhood Section as requested.
