PeopleSoft FSCM Consultant with Supplier Contract Management, P2P, procure to pay workflow, Purchasing, Payables, testing and Visio experience

Location: Albany NY (NYSTRS)
Duration: 12 months

Minimum Qualfications
Proposed consultant(s) must have at least five (5) years of verifiable experience in FSCM, including but not limited to: Purchasing, Payables, General Ledger, and Commitment Control.
Proposed consultant(s) must have at least three (3) years of verifiable experience in PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management Module including experience with integration of a P2P process. .
Proposed consultant must have verifiable experience, within the last three (3) years, performing services similar in size and scope to those described herein; and more specifically, experience configuring P2P processes.
Proposed consultant(s) must have participated in configuration on at least three (3) FSCM P2P projects and has seen the project through to successful completion.
Proposed consultant(s) shall have technical expertise with setup and configuration of P2P processes, including the Supplier Contract Management module.
Proposed consultant(s) shall have strong problem-solving, analytical, presentation and communication skills.
Proposed consultant is expected to develop a supportive relationship with NYSTRS’ project team to create a productive team environment.

Technical Experience
An understanding of P2P processes and has experience providing guidance on the most effective procedures for optimal results within a procure to pay workflow in FSCM.
An understanding of FSCM including the following componets; Purchasing, Payables and Supplier Contract Management.
Experience solving issues that may arise during configuration (including comprehensive knowledge in regard to system integration issues);
Proven ability to partner in implementing FSCM products in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
Ability to identify and solve technical issues that arise during configuration and provide guidance to reduce operational risks;
An understanding of FSCM roles, authorizations, and rule groups.
Proven ability to setup P2P configuration including but not limited to: workflows, templates and notifications.
Experience with creating technical specifications documentation for setup, configuration, and maintance of FSCM as well as documenting business requirements, functional requirements and non-fuctional requirements.
Experience with creating and performing testing plan, test cases, and test scripts for all levels of testing including application functional testing, process intergration testing, system and interface testing, and user acceptance testing.
Ablity to create process flows, data flow diagrams, and business process models as needed within MS Visio File format; and experience documenting functional requirements and specifications documents (MS Word).

DELIVERABLES/TASKS
Act as a primary resource on project team to:
Complete setup (excluding installation), configuration and integration of the P2P system, including Supplier Contract
Management module.
Provide technical documentation for setup, configuration, intergration and maintenance of the Supplier Contract
Mangement Module.
Complete setup and configuration of the P2P process within FSCM.
Provide technical documentation for setup, configuration and maintenance of the P2P process . Document existing business processes, where requested.
Review existing FSCM application configuration and assist in validating the current state.
Identify opportunities for improvement.
Review business requirements identified by Finance and Operational departments. Recommend busines process improvements and perform fit gap analysis.
Develop functional specification for customized reports.Act as a test partner on project team to:
Assist in developing test plan, use cases, test scenarios and test scripts.
Participate in all levels of testing including application function testing, process integration testing, system and interface testing, and user acceptance testing.
Consultant shall be responsible for content, accuracy and thoroughness of the documentation of requirements and test scripts.
Act as an advisor on project team in: Developing business processes and procedures. Developing and documenting technical training manuals.
Transferring knowledge to functional business and IT team members.
