Remote/Local Compliance Worker/Admin Assistant with customer service, MS Office, data entry, community worker, health care facilities monitoring experience

Location: Nashville TN (DOH)
Duration: 4-6 months
Must live in Tennessee; Looking for candidates in the Memphis, TN area; Middle TN area; and Knoxville, TN area
This position is statewide, may require overnight stay, and is 75% travel to health care facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
· High school graduate or GED diploma.
· Administrative support, customer service experience.
· Five (5) years of employment history.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Basic computer skills to include word processing, managing computer files, maintaining email and outlook calendar, and creating presentations.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience working in a multicultural workplace and setting.
Flexible and adaptable.
Able to work as a part of a team.
Experience in data entry.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

We are seeking candidates for a Compliance Worker. The candidate in this position will work in the community to monitor health care facilities (grantees) that participate in the Uninsured Adult Health Care Safety Net program. The position is an alternative workspace (remote).

The person will be part of a team dedicated to providing oversight of grantees who receive state funds. The candidate will provide technical guidance to agencies as they seek to follow the terms of their respective contracts. The candidate will share written and verbal feedback with the compliance coordinator to report compliance or non-compliance amongst assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will be customer focused with the ability to effectively establish and maintain positive relationships. Candidate will have ability to gain the trust and respect of Safety Net grantees demonstrating high integrity and good and competent to effectively handle any issue that may arise.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct site visits for the Uninsured Adult Health Care Safety Net program.

· Coordinate with Safety Net compliance coordinator to plan onsite visits.

· Engage with healthcare facilities and grantees.

· Provide customer service in accordance with standard operating procedures and

guidelines to maintain positive relationships.

· Foster relationship with grantees and serve as point of contact during site visits.

· Ask relevant probing questions to gather information.

· Convey information in an empathetic and positive manner.

· Create and maintain respectful work environment to minimize conflict.

· Communicate the needs of grantees to the Safety Net compliance coordinator.

· Utilize office software, including spreadsheets, word processing and outlook to complete

work activities.

· Respond to emails and other correspondence in a timely manner.

· Attend pre-site visit training to develop knowledge and skills.

· Collect and maintain administrative and community data in a confidential manner
