Overview:
Knowledge Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst/Test Lead for a long term contract through through June 2020 with potential for extension supporting a major technology modenization initiative for the State of Nevada. This role will be 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Analyst/Test Lead will support a major technology modenization initiative.
Prepare and update as required, their parts of a User Acceptance Test Management plan for the project which must be submitted to and approved by the Test Manager and Implementation Vendor.
The Project Test Manager and the Technical Test Lead, develop, publish and implement a dynamic Functional User Acceptance Test plan; index it to timelines, scenarios and test cases.
Identify and provide documentation of the protocols needed to perform functional, quality assurance and regression tests and tracking, as part of User Acceptance Testing;
Verify that errors logged during UAT are used to develop additional automated test cases for regression testing.
Establish and publish the standards for test case preparation, performing and documenting testing activities, identifying and tracking application defects, prioritizing defects as critical, major, or minor, and for reporting on the number and types of defects and their correction.
Identify tasks to establish a test environment and scripts for the distribution test cases and provide for regression testing against the distribution test cases.
Identify software to assist in the testing and test result tracking process.
Identify the protocols to test the hardware and infrastructure configuration; and
Execute the approved Test Management Plan successfully.
Provide the Project Manager with the Testing Management Plan, Risk Analysis Report, Successful execution of the Test Management Plan
Provide weekly and monthly updates which include the overall completion status reports addressing weekly, accomplishments, weekly goals and issues mediation results. Additionally, provide reports to Administration and test manager related risks, barriers, issues encountered impacting project schedule.
Qualifications:
Quality Assurance Analyst/Test Lead Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in managing large, complex projects in a related field;
Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible professional experience in managing aspects related to technical components of a User Acceptance Test plan, creating test cases, scenarios, automation, data conversion testing.
Must have extensive experience in establishing automated regression testing using current automated testing solutions
Systems testing to verify critical business process components
Data Migration/Conversion Testing with good SQL and ETL experience
Interface Testing using batch and Web Services with external partners/agencies
Knowledge or experience in Business Objects Reports Testing
Training Users on the new System
Support Smoke test on Implementation
Post-implementation support
Demonstrate experience in, documentation of training materials, policies, standards and procedures, executive of technical aspects of test plan, data conversation plan, code validation both on main frame and Server.
Experience with Defect/Bug tracking process using Helix ALM and Helix Core
Ability to demonstrate leadership and apply strategies to ensure accountability from the project team, internal and external stakeholders;
Demonstrate experience with risk reporting and provide solution-based analysis in development of status reporting and performance indicators.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written);
Demonstrated experience in executing decisions that accomplish strategic objectives;
High degree of proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat; and
High degree of proficiency in project management software (MS Project and MS Visio);
Knowledge or Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) using Jenkins and Maven or Gradle for building Test Automation Framework
