WTCC requires a manager for the Service Support Analyst. This is a third shift, onsite position working from 11PM – 7AM.

Skills:
Support of client platforms, including PCs, laptops, and tablets, with one year experience building and deploying operating system configurations. Required 3 Years
Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds of equipment Required
Experience in a leadership role serving on an enterprise level IT department Required 2 Years
Proficiency w/ software and user device & MDM systems like KACE, Ghost, SCCM, Intune, Jamf, Autopilot, Faronics Deep Freeze, and Apple School Manager Required 2 Years

Job Summary

This position is responsible for building, testing, and deploying client device operating systems and applications, providing expertise in assessing physical hardware platforms, and interacting with endpoint management systems. This position works on complex problems and provides solutions via automation to increase efficiency and enhance end users’ technology experience. This position would also manage a small contractor staff.

Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)
*To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily.
*Builds, tests, and installs full configurations for client devices. Builds and organizes library of client device configurations.
*Identifies project deliverables, milestones, required activities and tasks in order to create and manage project schedules
*Provides leadership, motivation, and direction to small/medium project teams throughout the project life cycle to ensure IT projects are completed within budget and on schedule
*Creates and maintains operating system and application patching schedules and ensures compliance with security standards for client platforms. Ensures platform image library is maintained with appropriate patch levels and security standards.
*Assists in successful patching of end point devices through configuration and automation across a large-scale academic institution.
*Responds to emergency situations as needed, during and after normal business hours, to identify, assess and mitigate critical operational issues.
*Collaborates with ITS staff to assess security threats related to client platforms and operating systems and takes proper mitigation steps to maintain a secure environment.
*Provides guidance and training regarding work processes and best practices to other contract staff as needed.
*Swiftly addresses conflicts to minimize impact to projects and negotiates successful resolution of issues

*Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues.
*Demonstrated focus on customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
*Basic knowledge of industry standard project management concepts.
*Knowledge and understanding of current software applications used and taught by a large academic institution.
*Demonstrated experience in the development of technical and user documentation.
*Good analytical, customer service and team-oriented interpersonal skills.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to present ideas and conduct training for groups of people.
*Advanced critical thinking and problem determination skills. Strong understanding of computer networking principles.

Requirements
Associate’s degree
*Three years’ experience in support of client platforms, including PCs, laptops, and tablets, with one year experience building and deploying operating system configurations.
*Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
*Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds of equipment
*Two years’ experience in a leadership role serving on an enterprise level IT department.
*Proficiency with mainstream industry software and end user device and mobile device management systems such as KACE, Ghost, SCCM, Intune, Jamf, Autopilot, Faronics Deep Freeze, and Apple School Manager.

Preferences
*Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline. ITIL Foundation certification.
