Network/Windows/SAN/VMWare Admin with DNS, O365, active directory, RAID and backup/recovery experience

At least three (3) years of experience in the following technical areas:
1)Prior senior level experience working in a network and IT system environment, including protocols (TCP/IP), equipment and services (DNS).
2)Prior senior level experience with Microsoft Windows server family, including all of Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016, Microsoft file and print services, windows terminal server, server security, including group policy and Microsoft Active Directory. Also, Microsoft Exchange online and Microsoft Outlook client technologies, including Office 365. Prior senior level experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) and switch architecture, including working with volumes/partitions, disk sets, arrays, RAID storage pools and hardware.
3)Prior experience working with virtualization technology, including use of product suites from VMWare.
4)Prior experience monitoring server performance and utilizing the associated tools to do so, managing block-level backup and associated backup/recovery methods.
5)Prior experience creating, updating and maintaining network and IT system policies, procedures and related documentation.
6)Prior experience mounting, moving and occasionally configuring network equipment.
2.3.1Primary Responsibilities for Network Engineer (Junior)
TO Contractor personnel shall, in cooperation with other MDOT SHA network technicians, work with MDOT SHA staff and IT liaisons supporting the MDOT SHA infrastructure, end user needs and tier 1 service desk. This includes:
A.Assist the network staff with daily management of servers, create and manage user accounts, access to files, rights to groups, etc.
B.On call duties as part of the on-call rotation, which is one week every six (6) weeks and is a 24-hour day. While on-call during business hours the TO Contractor Personnel are required to answer the on-call phone as well as respond to on-call email. After hours, phone calls to on-call are to be answered immediately and emails responded to (if necessary) by the next morning.
C.Attend staff meetings as well as other meetings as required. Document knowledge base as well as create, update and maintain documentation for the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
D.Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure development, to include patching, expansion and enhancement.
E.Participate in training sessions, team meetings and meetings with others within MDOT SHA as required.
