Statement of Work :
This Statement of Work ("SOW") is between Vendor and the Division of Technology Services (DTS) for the Department of Workforce Services (DWS). This engagement is to provide DTS/DWS with professional services expertise as a Full Stack Developer.
License Scope :
DTS is responsible for all licensing requirements of their environments.
Conspicuously stating the location of your candidate and their ability to work onsite, when called. (Mostly remote but occasional meetings)
This position is 95% remote but the need for local candidates is when the team is called into the office for meetings etc.
Vendor Qualifications :
Full Stack Developer with expertise in .NET core and strong C# skills with ability to write SQL at a master technical level. The project will include the ability to separate application, business and data areas on the backend Entity Framework, effectively write unit tests, and translate visual and written designs into efficient back-end libraries. Developers will need to have extensive experience with SQL and Oracle databases, web applications, microservices and batch jobs. Experience with AWS cloud platform is preferred.
Project Description :
The DWS / DTS Shared Services group is an enterprise team that provides support to Utah’s Unemployment Insurance (UI) under the Workforce Services division. Developer would support both the Comprehensive Unemployment Benefits System (CUBS) which is the benefits system application and the Contributions Automated Tax System (CATS) which is the tax collection management system for UI.
Currently, the CUBS system is written in a Microsoft .NET environment and CATS is being modernized into .NET and is expected to be fully rewritten approximately within the next three years. Continual maintenance, bug fixes and enhancements are needed on both systems with the developer expected to support both as needed. All major new functions are approved by DWS UI management and good communication skills are essential to communicate changes and needs to our business partners.
