• Remote work / onsite work will equate to about 80% remote, 20% onsite.
Candidates will be scored by the following percentages.
20% Rate
40% Quality and experience with AWS Architecture
20% Quality and experience with Terraform for AWS
10% Quality and experience with pipeline automation such as GitHub Actions
10% Communication Skills
Qualifications
– Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and software delivery using AWS
– Expert Terraform skills to make recommendations for changing current processes and patterns in AWS
– Experience with pipeline automation such as GitHub Action or Jenkins
– Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers and clients
– Experience of the full software development cycle: from requirements gathering and functional design to development, testing and delivery.
– Expertise with application observability patterns and site reliability practices
– Solid understanding of the common challenges with migrations and modernizations
– Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, Linux Docker containers, databases, scripting
– Knowledge of security standards and protecting applications in the cloud environment
– Understanding of cloud services and infrastructure

– Broad experience using AWS cloud services willing to work in a collaborative environment

– Willing to mentor and build other members of the team with excellent communication skills
– Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions
– Lead technical discussions and build consensus among cloud engineering teams
– Work closely with other developers and business analysts to ensure the integrity of the application
– Create, build and maintain applications based on modern cloud design patterns
– Assist with system migration to the cloud
