The NCDIT-Transportation Business Relations Management and Customer Service unit is seeking an expert level Technical Specialist for a 12-month engagement on the Information Technology ServiceNow effort.

***Currently we are 100% remote with occasional meetings on site. I would say to expect 1 to 2 meetings per month on site. Depending on the leadership of NC and each agency, there is the possibility that we could be asked to return to a 100% work on site and/or work 3 days on site and 2 remote.

The NCDIT-Transportation Business Relations Management and Customer Service unit is seeking an expert level Technical Specialist for a 12-month engagement on the Information Technology ServiceNow effort.
This contractor serves as a ServiceNow Development and Process resource and will assist in the coordination and support of the NCDOT’s Enterprise ServiceNow Platform solution. This work supports Knowledge Management which enables the sharing of information in knowledge bases. The knowledge bases contain articles that provide users with information such as self-help, troubleshooting and task resolution. The following processes are supported in Knowledge Management: article creation and categorization, article review and approval, search and browse, feedback, governance and administration. To support different groups within the organization, knowledge bases can be assigned to individual teams. Each team will be responsible for defining the behavior and organization of their knowledge base. Can use separate workflows for publishing and retiring articles and have separate access controls for reading and making contributions to the knowledge base.
