SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
ASSESS CURRENT VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION INTERNAL BUSINESS PROCESSES TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES TO STREAMLINE AND IMPROVE SERVICES. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION. AN AVERAGE OF 10 HOURS PER WEEK.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consulting and project management services to identify and implement business process improvements for Vocational Rehabilitation services.
Assess Needs
• Perform data analysis to identify agency needs and priorities.
• Conduct staff surveys to identify gaps in processes, inefficiencies, and needs.
• Hold consultation hours with staff to assess current Vocational Rehabilitation processes.
Recommend Process Improvements
• Utilize strong knowledge of applicable federal regulations for Vocational Rehabilitation to make actionable recommendations for process improvements, including prioritizing changes and identifying necessary new or revised documentation.
• Assess potential impacts and risks of recommended process changes.
• Draft a final assessment and recommendations report.
Implement Process Improvements
• Provide project management services to develop a timeline, implementation plan, and communication plan.
• Coordinate with administration teams on documentation revisions.
• With staff, implement lean process strategies to streamline business processes and improve services.
• Provide support and training to staff during implementation of process changes/improvements.
