Onsite/Local Desktop Support Technician (Comptia A+/Network+/Security+) with software/hardware/mobile devices/peripherals support/repair/troubleshooting/install experience

Primary work location is: MYRTLE BEACH OFFICE
Duration: 12 Months

Additional Skills:
Knowledge of IT development, implementation, and documentation in an enterprise network environment.
Knowledge of IT techniques to provide support of computer hardware and software, mobile devices and peripherals deployed in an enterprise environment.
Ability to establish working relationships with work teams and customers. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Job Description:
Candidate will use own vehicle to go between sites.
Primary work location is: MYRTLE BEACH OFFICE

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Diagnoses and repairs moderately complex problems in response to customer reported incidents. Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains moderately complex to complex customer hardware and software. Ensures rigorous application of information security standards. Assist with identifying and troubleshooting network issues.
2. Proactive and timely resolution to tickets based on the severity of the issue. Serves as technical consultant to the client interfacing team. Assist with developing deployment schedules and logistics. Researches and provides evaluation of trends and patterns in customer support requirements.
3. Maintains good relations with agency management, vendors, co-workers and end-users. Travel onsite to resolve technical issues
4. Keep up with offered training courses to be determined by the manager. Provides advice and direction to agencies on purchases of hardware and software
5. Other duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND EXPERIENCE IN OFFICE AUTOMATION SYSTEMS, DATA COMMUNICATIONS, SYSTEM DESIGN, INSTALLATION, OPERATION, REPAIR OR PROCESSING OF INFORMATION IN A DATA PROCESSING ENVIRONMENT OR RELATED SYSTEMS. A DEGREE IN A RELATED FIELD MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ON A YEAR FOR YEAR BASIS
