REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

•Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with technical and non-technical co-workers in a fast-changing environment.
•SharePoint and Office 365 subject matter expert, with detailed knowledge of all the "pillars" of SharePoint (Infrastructure, Application Development, and Information Architecture).
•Able to meet with clients, analyze business requirements, and develop Office 365-based solutions to address client needs. Potential areas of solutions include, but are not limited to: SharePoint Online, Teams, Flow (Power Automate), Office 365 Groups, Power Apps, Power BI.
•5+ years of working in a development role supporting SharePoint Online (O365) and 2016 /2013.
•Experience in design/architecture and deployment of Office 365 suite of products such as (Azure AD Connect, Directory Sync, ADFS, Exchange Online, Skype for business online, MS Teams, SharePoint online and One-Drive for business).
•3+ years of server-side development using ASP.Net & C# / client side using HTML/CSS/JavaScript & strong knowledge of general web development.
•1-2+ years of experience using PowerApps, PowerBI, and Flow.
•Solid skills in XML/XSD/XSLT/CAML/LINQ.
•General experience working with SQL/MS BI Stack & other DBMS.
•A deep understanding of SharePoint OnLine architecture, services & features, site design & best practices. Including performance tuning.
•Deep knowledge & understanding of the roles of SharePoint and the relationships to one another & business processes. This includes, but is not limited to: Security/Roles, Search, ECM/Metadata, Document Management, BI/PerformancePoint, Workflows/Forms, Portals and custom web parts & features.PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
•Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows platform & network infrastructure / Cloud computing & Active Directory.
•Ability to develop and document farm-level, site-collection-level, and site-level architecture for SharePoint environment, lead technical design reviews for architectural enhancements.
•Experience using SharePoint integration with 3rd party applications & databases.
•Experience with agile methodology using Jira.
•Experience with MS Dynamics.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SharePoint / Office 365 Architect/Developer will report to the SCDHHS Eligibility & Enrollment Content Management Manager. The SharePoint O365 Developer will work with DHHS Medicaid Eligibility and Content Management Team staff. The position is focused on planning, developing, documenting & exchanging knowledge with onsite team using industry best practices. Strong oral and written communication skills are required for this position.
Typical work consists of developing custom web applications, workflows, forms & solutions in all phases of the SDLC process (planning, developing, testing & support). As well as code/configuration reviews. This role will also provide tier-2 level support to the helpdesk as well as participate in user group activities which may include giving presentations to power users and site owners within the enterprise.
The SharePoint/Office 365 Architect/Developer will be expected to participate actively as a leader in SCDHHS’s SharePoint/O365 Users’ Group and Governance Committee.
