Remote Security Analyst with O365, faxing solutions/RightFax and vulnerability analysis/penetration testing experience

Location: Austin TX (HHSC)
Duration: 12 months
The worker may be required to work remotely at HHSC discretion, up to 100 percent of the time

Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
1 Required Minimum of 1-plus years of combined experience in information technology, security risk and compliance management, assessment, research and/or consulting.
1 Required Experience working with and securing technologies such as O365 and Faxing Solutions.
1 Required Skill in configuring, deploying, and monitoring security infrastructure

This position is needed to provide security analyst experience and skills to perform the initial annual risk assessment for Office 365 and for the Enterprise RightFax Platform. Duties will include advises management and users regarding security configurations and procedures, performs and reviews technical risk assessments, reviews of account permissions, computer data access needs, security violations, programming changes, and risk assessments.

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience in information security analysis work. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in information technology security, computer information systems, computer science, management information systems, or a related field is generally preferred. Education and experience may be substituted for one another.

Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems; technology across all mainstream network, operating system, and application platforms; operational support of networks, operating systems, Internet technologies, databases, and security applications; and information security practices, procedures, and regulations. Skill in the use of applicable software and the configuring, deploying, monitoring, and automating of security applications and infrastructure. Ability to resolve complex security issues in diverse and decentralized environments; to learn, communicate, and teach new information and security technologies; to communicate effectively. Knowledge of procedures on systems security, inventory, and database management. Skill in security risk assessments (including vulnerability analysis and penetration testing).
