Telework: Consultant shall be permitted to telework until notified otherwise, once agency telework agreement has been reviewed and signed. Agency reserves the right to revoke, or limit telework agreement, and require on-site support as needed.

The Department of Social Services (“DSS” or “Department”) requires one Project Manager position from the IT Strategic Services Master Agreement to assist with the management and ongoing support of the DSS Shared Services Project. This Request for Services (“RFS”) and all responses are being solicited pursuant to Department of Administrative Services (“DAS”) Master Agreement 18PSX0087 (“MA”). The resulting Statement of Work (“SOW”) will be subject to the terms and conditions of the MA. The Department anticipates requesting at least three vendors from the MA to respond to this RFS. The Department will select one contractor from the responses received and will negotiate a SOW with that vendor. The negotiated SOW will have to be approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMS”) and the Department before any work can begin.
Responsibilities Include:
Project Management Office (“PMO”) support for Design, Development and Implementation (“DDI”) of all Shared Services and ImpaCT related projects.
Tracking and managing the project work plan in Microsoft Project (“MP”) or any other project management tool utilized by the Department.
Assist in developing process documents and flow diagrams to facilitate project stakeholder needs.
Create, track and maintain project management artifacts such as risk/issue registers, MP schedules, status reports, dashboards, metrices of project health, performance reports, action items, meeting minutes that are needed across various work streams, and other related documents.
Prepare and facilitate meetings with project stakeholders.
Assist in operational support of system/applications and analysis related to DSS initiatives.
Create and provide project initiation, progress, status and closures reports and DDI documents to internal and external stakeholders, such as CMS. This may include periodic status updates and required artifacts that must be developed and maintained to adhere to federal guidelines and procedures.
Assist in change control process and oversight.
Provide project deliverable tracking.
Support coordinated activities between different DSS units and agencies, as directed by DSS
Provide value add services and best practices based on evolving industry standards and expertise from Health and Human Services (“HHS”) projects.
Support the development, maintenance and closure of Implementation Advanced Planning Documents (“IAPD”), Advanced Planning Documents (“APD”) and other related federal and state artifacts.
Create and track cost performance index (“CPI”) and key performance indicators (“KPI”).
