Skills:
Experience working in a LMS such as Moodle, Blackboard, or similar content management system. Required 7 Years

Experience developing instructional training materials using interactions and simulations to create engaging course content. Required 7 Years
Experience in computer-based training instructional design, with learning program design systems. Required 7 Years
Background working with training developers, program SMEs, technical support and others to assure training materials are effective. Required 7 Years
Experience in computer-based training instructional design with learning design software such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Connect, Visio. Required 7 Years
Must have strong understanding of internet concepts and web technology, including User Experience design and digital media authoring. Required 7 Years
Experience with Agile methodology, and project management software such as JIRA, SharePoint and/or MS Project. Required 7 Years
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major emphasis on coursework in business or public administration or related field. Desired
Four years of administrative experience involving participation in the planning and management of a business or governmental programs. Desired
NC FAST requires the services of an experienced LMS Administrator to provide oversight and management of the Learning Gateway Learning Management System (LMS) used to track and monitor training activities and student progress for NC FAST users statewide.
The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks an experienced contractor resource to support the work of various project content development and training teams, through the management and monitoring of our Learning Management system(s). Duties include working with a team of NC FAST/HSBIA content developers that are tasked to design and deliver virtual interactive webinars, web-based and in-person training to both external Social Services agency and internal state staff to ensure appropriate and timely functionality of the LMS in the areas of registration, notification, administration of training, operations, assessment, reporting and resource management.
In addition to LMS Administration responsibilities, this position may sometimes participate in development of training content to ensure deadlines are met. The LMS Administrator will partner globally with various Business Administrators, Analysts, and Developers on a routine basis and use excellent interpersonal communication skills to establish strong relationships with these training partners to ensure an efficient process and successful outcome.
