Location: Hartford CT (DSS)
Duration: 4 months
All candidates must be local.
Telework: Consultant may be approved for partial telework not to exceed three (3) days per week, and is expected to be on-site the remainder of the time.
Responsibilities Include:
CIO and IT Director Administrative Support Services such as:
o Organizing tasks
o Prioritizing workload
o Schedule and maintain calendars and meetings
Division Communication
o Calls dispatched on behalf of manager – answer and redirect
o Calls rendered on behalf of manager
Schedule/reschedule meetings
Schedule interviews
Reserve conferences, hotels, flights, etc.
o Sending electronic and physical communication on behalf of manager
o In person greeting visitors/candidates
o Speaking with staff on behalf of manager
o Creating required forms for management
o Interview scheduling, management of interview panels, and coordination of candidate selection
Preparation of invoices
o Review, prepare and forward invoices from agency vendors
o Create and process finance forms for payment of invoices
o Tracking invoice payment progress
o Maintain invoicing records
Process new contractors
o Prepare necessary paperwork for new contractors
o Prepare photo ID & access cards
o Submit ticket request for additional IT resources needed for onboarding
Maintain contractor renewals
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Experience required:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Advanced skills with MS Office suite.
Familiarity with state procurement and accounting processes. Experience with CT CORE a plus.
