DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: (Required)
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one (1) Functional Analyst Tester hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Software Test Analyst 2 in Emerging Technology and the specifications outlined in this document for Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) System.
The Functional Analyst Tester is an Information Technology (IT) position and will requirements analysis and testing services for the implementation of enhancements to the Childcare Licensing Automated Support System (CLASS) resulting from the Foster Care litigation suit. The court ordered changes include enhancements to allow for heightened monitoring and security role changes. This position will provide requirements analysis to create test cases and scripts for functional and nonfunctional requirements, prepare test data, execute test scripts, analyze data, support user acceptance testing, and provide defect triaging. If applicable, the enhancements to the system will be coordinated to coincide with the implementation of CCL "Rule" changes. The project is expected to produce several deployments throughout fiscal years 2021 and 2022.
The workers responsibilities and skills must include:
· Create test cases and scripts
· Prepare test data to be loaded in the database
· Execute test script logging results
· Document defects include steps to reproduce the anomaly
· Utilize analysis and diagramming tools to represent business processes
· Must have historical and proven knowledge and practical application of testing best practices
· Other duties as assigned
