5 Experience working with database design and migration and working with stored procedures
5 Understand database architect and management
2 Sybase and MS SQL development
Strong User created DLLs
Strong Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team playing and communication skills.

Competent Software Development Life Cycle

1 or more MS Visual Studio, C#, VB.Net
The DSHS Provider Managed Enrollment System (PMES) project will remediate the current Central Billing System (CBS) to:
• Remove the Texas Provider Identifier (TPI) references on all screens/reports
• Migrate database from Sybase to MS SQL
• Ensure operability on the updated infrastructure
Database Architect will perform the following duties:
• Reviews the current database designs and stored procedures
• Develops strategies for database migration plan from Sybase to MS SQL
• Implements database migration plan from Sybase to MS SQL
• Develops integration test plan for CBS program to ensure database operation and correctness
• Works with other project team members on design, code development, test plan, documentation
• Other duties as assigned as required to complete the project.
