Skill Required :
4-6 years prior IT Audit experience Required 4 Years
Working knowledge of Yellow book and Red Book Required 4 Years
Working knowledge of information security standards and controls with in-depth knowledge of COV IT Security Standard SEC501 and/or NIST 800-53 Required 4 Years
Demonstrated ability to apply information technology governance frameworks such as COBIT Required 4 Years
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Required 4 Years
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or information systems preferred Highly desired
CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are preferred. Highly desired
*candidates will telework now (after coming to office to pick up laptop). Once restrictions are lifted, candidates will be required to work onsite daily M-F 8-5pm, NO exceptions
Position supports the centralized IT Security Audit staff. Auditing of sensitive IT systems is not only required by the Code of Virginia, but is also a valuable tool in identifying key IT security controls that are not implemented or working as intended. We had significant difficulties filling current positions and need to fill this quickly to help us meet our commitments to participating agencies.
