Previous experience with developing SharePoint for Box migration to SharePoint using Cloud FastPath Highly desired 2 Years
Previous experience with PowerPlatform, particularly with Power BI Desired 2 Years
Previous experience with developing SharePoint for Intranet site development Highly desired 5 Years
Hands-on experience in site administration including site design, co-authoring, configuration, permissions, and navigation setup Required 5 Years
Hands-on experience in automation using PowerShell scripting with SharePoint online Desired 2 Years
Hands-on experience in Web Parts, Site Collections, Site Columns, Content Types, Workflows, Search Service, Delve, Excel Service and Metadata Service Required 4 Years

DBHDS needs two SharePoint Experts for 3 months for multiple projects, that will be running simultaneously. They will provide SharePoint “heads down” development on the following projects:
The first resource will work on:
Box Migration of 8,000 accounts to SharePoint (includes clean up and new SharePoint structure set up for agency) – .5 FTE X 2 months
Sensei Beacon implementation of 38 projects –.5 FTE x 1 month
DBHDS Website Redesign (Internet Content for All Agency Offices) –.5 FTE x 3 months
The second resource will work on:

DBHDS Intranet Project- (Intranet Content for all Agency Offices – SharePoint based) – 1 FTE x 3 months
Final decisions on what (above) projects the contractor will work on will be confirmed once interviews conclude and based on their experience and team discussions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
SharePoint Developers: Responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to DBHDS specifications, building scalable web applications, Intranet development, writing and modifying processes and workflows, web parts, features, etc., and debugging software. Also must have training and development experience for teaching SharePoint basics.
SharePoint Developer should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues. An experienced SharePoint Developer should create clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all DBHDS design and functionality requirements.
SharePoint Developer Responsibilities:
– Meeting with the project teams to review website and application requirements
– Setting tasks and development goals
– Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements
– Developing new web components using modern online SharePoint sites
– Designing agency wide SharePoint solutions to develop a successful Intranet
– Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies
– Reviewing website interface and software stability
– Troubleshooting software issues
– Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications
– Providing systems training to staff and customers

SharePoint Developer Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Previous experience with developing SharePoint for the following applications preferred:

Box migration to SharePoint using Cloud FastPath
o Sensei Beacon
o Power Platform experience, particularly with Power BI
o Intranet site development

– Hands-on experience in site administration including site design, co-authoring, configuration, permissions, and navigation setup
