Notes to recruiters
• The two previous postings gathered numerous candidates with testing and business analyst backgrounds. While testing experience is needed for this position, this is a quality management position that requires broader experience than just testing. Client has rewritten the SOW to more clearly indicate the priorities.
• We are looking for quality management experience and understanding. If the candidate cannot quickly and concisely explain quality management principles to you in a screening interview, then the candidate is probably not a good fit. This position is not suitable for “learn on the job,” so lack of relevant quality management experience makes the candidate a non-starter.
• This position is being listed as a project manager position because it requires organizational skills and because there is no labor category for quality management on the IT Staffing Contract. The formal PM skills (e.g., cost/schedule/scope control) are of lower importance for this position, but still helpful.
• If a candidate has numerous positions of 18 months or less, the candidate’s resume should be clear as to why this has occurred. Having had multiple short engagements is not inherently bad; however, given the high demand for healthcare IT experts at this time, Client will be concerned about any candidate who has had problems remaining employed/engaged for extended periods (poor work habits, poor interpersonal skills, very narrow expertise, etc.).
