JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide insight and assistance to technical staff in the review and scoring of proposals submitted by outside vendors in response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals).
• Provide technical project management in a fast-paced, multi-project environment as requested by the CIO. This includes but is not limited to communications with other MSOS divisions, establishment and adherence to timelines, prioritization of issues based on knowledge of business processes, state government requirements, and other items as directed by MSOS.
• Prepare project plans with timelines and deliverables for each project assigned.

5+yrs. Knowledge and experience in cash management standards

PREFERRED:

Knowledge of and experience in current e-commerce technology
Knowledge of and experience in the State’s MIS payment interface
Familiarity with the State’s conversion from legacy financial applications (SAAS and SPAHRS) to MAGIC (SAP based system)
Knowledge of and experience with the Mississippi Management Reporting System reporting process, including SAAS and SPAHRS
Knowledge of MSOS Elections financial transactions
Knowledge of Lobbyist filing workflow process
Knowledge of the STAR.NET Lobbyist application
Knowledge of the STAR.NET Lobbyist application
Knowledge of MSOS Lands financial transactions
Knowledge of the Public Lands filing workflow process
Knowledge of MSOS Business Services financial transactions
Knowledge of the Business Services filing workflow process
Knowledge of the STAR.NET Business Services and/or RevRoom applications
Knowledge of MSOS Securities, Charities, and Business Regulation and Enforcement financial transactions
