REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE # YEARS
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to write formal reports 5+
Proficiency with software such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel. 10+
Ability to develop data analysis scripts utilizing SQL against potential DB2, Oracle, and SQL server databases 10+
Experience with developing dashboards and reports with BI tools – Power BI Required. 7+

JOB DESCRIPTION This position is to assist the agency with state and federal reporting requirements as well as multiple projects associated with the Economic Assistance, Community Services, Child Support, Early Childhood Care and Development, Workforce Development located within the Mississippi Department of Human Services. This person has an individual contributor quantitative analyst role with responsibility for researching, developing, and maintaining statistical reporting models in Power BI.

REQUIRED DEGREE Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Business from an accredited post-secondary academic institution
