Minimum Qualifications
• 7 years combined experience scripting/executing online/load performance testing on enterprise software
• 2 projects, lasting at least three months each, using an online load testing tool for performance testing PeopleSoft Version 9.1 or 9.2 applications (projects can be in 9.1 or 9.2 or a mixed combination of both)
• 1 project lasting at least three months using Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) for online load testing
• 3 years experience with SQL
Desired Skills
• Experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 or 9.2
• Experience with Test Automation frameworks for enterprise software
• Experience in both automation and manual testing on PeopleSoft applications
• Experience in Public Sector (government, University) technology projects
Description of Project
The Office of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) and the Departments of Administration and Management and Budget are upgrading the current PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management Solutions (FMS) system to version PeopleSoft 9.2. FMS is the core tool that supports the State accounting and procurement functions. The State has named this application Statewide Integrated Financial Management Tools (SWIFT). The FMS application is currently operating in PeopleSoft version 9.1. This resource request is to assist the State in testing activities associated with deploying this enterprise system.
Position Roles and Responsibilities
• Create test scripts using Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) with input from business team and performance subject matter expert
• Execute various high volume performance test scenarios using OATS
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance test issues
• Setup, configure, or mine for test data to automated performance test scripting
• Create, document and track issues to resolution
• Accurately prepare performance test fixes for migration through development, system test and production environments using migration tools (e.g. Phire)
• Provide support for business and/or systems analysts during performance testing
• Report status to Project Management Office (PMO) team and Senior Performance Test Lead
