Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
7 Experience with NATURAL programming language
7 Experience with ADABAS
7 Experience with SAS
7 Information technology, computer system analysis, computer programming, or closely related experience
7 Considerable knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies
7 Skill in identifying and resolving problems using strong analytical techniques, innovative approaches, and taking initiative in preventing and solving problems
5 Experience working in a UNIX/LINUX environment (including writing shell scripts and commands)
5 Experience with DB2 LUW
5 Experience developing PL/SQL, SQL
5 Extract, Transformation & Load (ETL)

Preferred
Years Skills/Experience
10 Experience working in Public Sector with PII data
5 Experience with any of the following tools: Rational RequisitePro, Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest, TOAD and InfoSphere Data Architect
5 Experience with the Texas Child Support Program
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or closely related discipline

Conversion Programmer
The Worker will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating designs, developing, testing and implementing conversion Extract, Transformation & Load (ETL) programs with an emphasis on T1 extract procedures and programs within an Natural/ADABAS environment. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment and independently with a focus on quality and customer service.
• Designs, builds, tests, and optimizes mainframe legacy extract processes and programs
• Designs, builds, tests and optimizes transformation and load programs
• Resolves technical issues/defects through debugging, research, and investigation
• Develop and maintain ETL reports
• Develop and maintain data obfuscation programs
• Ability to create custom scripts (SHELL, PERL) to facilitate the execution of mainframe legacy data load and reporting programs
