8 Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and develop software specifications, complex test scenarios and test plans in cooperation with business and technical groups
8 Experience documenting detailed requirements for information technology solutions that will meet program and user needs.
8 Experience in creating test scenarios, test cases and documenting Requirements Traceability Matrix
8 Experience with testing web based applications
7 Experience documenting requirements traceability matrices and mapping requirements and design specification to associated test cases
7 Experience executing test plans; assisting team members in performing and completing test activities; performing testing; and documenting/communicating testing results
7 Experience identifying, analyzing and documenting software defects; assisting developers in analyzing and resolving defects
7 Thorough knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies to include experience with COTS and/or SaaS implementations
5 Experience testing data conversion and migration in support of projects replacing large, complex legacy systems
5 Experience with test management software such as HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
3 Experience working as a Test Analyst for an IT implementation project.
3 Experience presenting to program and IT management, project Sponsors, and Executive leadership.
3 Workforce Labor Exchange software experience
This Worker will work with the TWC WorkInTexas (WIT) Replacement IT Project Manager (PM) and Test Lead on the technology project to replace the legacy WIT system with a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. This Worker performs highly complex systems analysis to complete software test activities for all test phases of this solution implementation project. The Worker analyzes business requirements and reviews solution specifications. The Worker reviews, analyzes, evaluates and develops test cases and scenarios based on business and system requirements to ensure traceability; performs system testing; and participates in user acceptance testing. The Worker works in cooperation with the WIT Replacement Test Lead to identify and document software defects and works with the project’s Technical Lead to coordinate defect solutions. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment.
