System Administrator with Redhat RHEL, Cascade Server, performance tuning, laod testing, Apache, JMeter, Java and education/university experience

Description:

North Carolina A & T State University is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 2 – 3 week) assignment to provide computer systems analysis services. The selected candidate will work in a role as Systems Administrator/Analyst and will be expected to perform load/configuration testing on Cascade Server CMS (Content Management System) and agency publishing/web servers. In addition the candidate will produce a report showing best practices and NC A&T’s environment setup at the OS, apache, and Java levels. Other duties may include assisting with load/configuration corrections.

 

Required skills: 

•Minimum of one (1) year proven experience with Red Hat RHEL 5.x, Apache load balancing, Apache Web Server, JMeter or other load testing functional behavior performance tool, Java J2SE 1.4.2

•Knowledge of configuration and best practices for all software listed above for an Enterprise CMS and website deployment in a virtual server environment
