Solaris Administrator with VMWare, LDAP, proxy, certificate management, Banner, Sun Cluster, Oracle, and Linux/Red Hat experience

Description:

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC)is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 3 month) contractor assignment to provide IT Operations Support Services in the area of UNIX/LINUX Systems Specialist. This position will be responsible for the operations and support of UNC Charlotte’s Solaris UNIX Server, Solaris/SUN Cluster environment and will contribute to LINUX system administration.

 

Required skills:

•Minimum of seven(7) years of Solaris UNIX server administration.

Preferred:

•Minimum of five (5)years of SUN Cluster administration in an Oracle Database environment

•Minimum of five (5) years of Linux server administration

•Certified – Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6

•Knowledge of certificate management, LDAP and proxy services

•VMWare experience

•Banner experience
