Mandatory Requirements :
1.Five years experience working with Oracle, with a thorough understanding of the architecture and processes of the Oracle server, including Oracle 9i and/or Oracle10g, or higher.
2.Three years experience as an Oracle database administrator in a production database environment.
3.Database Administrator experience with the development of large scale, complex applications involving on-line and batch environments.
4.Three years experience in monitoring and tuning the general performance of the Oracle database.
5.Three years experience writing SQL-PL/SQL, stored procedures and triggers.
6.Three years experience in identifying business rules and database design.
7.Experience in the transition of systems, including the transfer of knowledge and mentoring.
Desirable Experience :
1.Five years experience designing Oracle databases, including requirements definition, business rule analysis, data modeling, and logical / physical design.
2.Five years experience administering Unix-based Oracle 9i and 10g databases in a production environment, with an in-depth understanding of the Oracle 9i and 10g architectures and new features.
3.Five years experience in designing, developing and maintaining Oracle database structures in the support of Human Services initiatives.
4.Experience in configuring, using, and maintaining Intelligent Search Technology’s NAMESEARCH product.
5.Five years of experience writing and debugging Unix Korn Shell and Pearl scripts, with a thorough knowledge of language syntax and structure.
6.Three years of experience as an Oracle DBA supporting a JAVA based database application, with a knowledge of the J2EE standard, JDBC database connectivity, LDAP/Siteminder, and CVS (Concurrent Versions System).
7.Five years of experience performing database loads, using SQL*Loader and PL/SQL..
