Role: To establish the application architecture of and lead the design and development of a Microsoft .NET C# web-based application to replace an existing application written in IBM's VisualAge Generator.

Deliverables:

1. A functioning architecture and design for the application.
2. UML models and other documentation of the architecture and design.
3. Assistance with establishing a formal software development lifecycle utilizing the Rational Unified Process.
4. Mentor developers and transfer knowledge of architecture,design and coding to the development team.
5. Guide and contribute extensively to the ongoing development, review, and adoption of best practices for software development and application architecture.

Qualifications :
1. A Minimum of 7 years as  an Application Architect
2. A Minimum of 7 years of Object Oriented Analysis and Design (use case realization and object modeling), multi-tiered application architecture and application integration architecture (including SOA).
3. A Minimum of 5 years of .NET C# coding experience
4. A Minimum of 7 years of UML modeling
5. Must able to describe in great detail SDLC techniques and artifacts used in designing and implementing software systems using a use case driven methodology.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings with business and technical staff.

Job Description:
Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software. Possesses a strong understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control languages. Evaluates vendor supplied software packages and makes recommendations to IT management. Modifies and/or debugs vendor- supplied utilities and packages. Modifies, installs and prepares technical documentation for system software applications. Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution. Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures and provides Tier 2 technical support.�

Mandatory Requirements:
   
1.A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
2.A Minimum of three (3) years experience examining the methods and processes of the business flow within a diverse public or private service delivery organization 
3.A Minimum of three (3) years experience assessing and documenting existing business processes and identifying unnecessary steps 
4.A Minimum of three (3) years experience incorporating value-added steps into a new process through the translation of business practices into terminology and desk products that seamlessly merge computer and microcomputer technology with work processes
5.A Minimum of three (3) years experience assessing and documenting existing business processes and identifying where improvements can be made or where new processes can be installed.
6.A Minimum of three (3) years experience researching "best practices" of comparable organizations and analyzing the feasibility of installing them where needed.
7.A Minimum of three (3) years experience developing new methods and procedures, implementation plans and schedules, and written reports.
8.A Minimum of three (3) years experience eliciting and documenting business, user, and system requirements 
9.A Minimum of three (3) years experience preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRD)

Desirable Experience :

1.Three or more years experience working with Business Analysts translating business requirements into technical user specifications, including data, process and interface specifications.
2.A Minimum of Two or more years programming experience, preferably in open systems development.
3.A Minimum of Two or more years experience working in a mainframe-oriented environment.
4.A Minimum of Two years experience mentoring other workers in creating system documentation.
5.A Minimum of Three or more years experience employing technical analysis practices such as: objected oriented analysis and design methodologies; Unified Modeling Language (UML); modeling and requirements management tools; process frameworks (Rational Unified Process); and agile development methodologies.
6.A Minimum of Two years or more demonstrated expertise facilitating meetings and JAD sessions with Business Analysts and Developers to produce system documentation and demonstrated expertise facilitating documentation walkthroughs with Project Management for sign off on deliverables.
