Experience working in modern full stack web based Java development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL Required 5 Years
WebLogic JEE container interfacing with relational databases (RDBMS) on Windows and/or, Linux platform. Required 3 Years
Knowledge and skill in system development methodology (applications development including analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation). Required 5 Years
Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite. Required 2 Years
Excellent analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. Required 3 Years
Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to ensure success of projects and systems. Required 3 Years
Experience in latest JDeveloper, Eclipse, struts2, Hibernate, Spring, jQuery, Hitachi Pentaho Reporting, CVS, Toad and Oracle Database. Required 3 Years
Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects, developing project scope, and estimates of effort. Required 5 Years
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in information systems, computer science, or related field. Highly desired 4 Years
Programming exp in Oracle / PL SQL Version 12 or later Required 5 Years
Agency is looking to hire this person after 6 months (based on performance) so candidate must be interested and eligible to go FTE without sponsorship. If offer for full time is extended, candidate must still need to go thru agency’s normal hiring process for the full time role.
Salary conversion for FTE role is $80-90K with full state benefits, training opportunities, etc.
ABOUT THE ROLE
DOE is looking for a Java Programmer to develop and maintain DOE supported full stack web based Java/JEE applications with RDBMS using standard methods and tools. Maintain all current applications per user requirements. Contribute to ad hoc reporting; adhering to DOE and state software standards. Utilize the current infrastructure and technology to maintain a stable and secure development environment.
In addition to above, this person MUST HAVE:
– At least 5 years of recent exp with PL SQL
– Experience with Oracle database (Version 18)
– Programming skills in Oracle V12 or later
